We'll see.
One thing I'll say for the Abarths- they do sound good. |

Saw that Car and Driver's instrumented test of the 124 Abarth is up. Surprised that with a few more hp and a lot more torque, it's slower than the Miata (and BRZ/FR-S for that matter).

Well, it's about what I expected, though I thought the turbo lag wouldn't be as bad and it would be more competitive in acceleration figures.
I'm more surprised at the price tag. $37,800 is well out of the "cheap sports car" category. I realize it's as optioned as you can get it, but I'm not convinced the value is there. |

Great article. What's so fascinating to me is the price difference from our beloved twins, considering we have a LSD in the base model (though it is the only model as we know :P). What really intrigues me about the new Miata compared to our twins is the convertible factor. I love convertibles! But I don't know if I'd pay more for the drop top and lose the LSD. If they were the same price I would've had a LOT more thinking to do! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree. How much is a 370z?! O_o Not that it's as nimble as Fiat might be. But I'd think it's a lot more car for the money! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
