The ride is great, the car corners significantly flatter than it did stock. Although I've been thinking about swapping the fairly soft springs for something a little bit stiffer. The rears are also progressive, and I'd prefer linear.

But my main reason for considering going back to stock is more so that I upgraded before I really needed to. I'm sure I hadn't hit my limits with the stock suspension, but went with the coilovers because I got a great deal (employee discount ftw!) and wanted to give them a try. Eliminating some of the wheel gap was nice too. haha

you save a lot of money once you realize the most important factor in the car is the guy behind the wheel...keep it simple parts wise and get seat time...pretty amazing what simple cars are capable of once you start ringing them out

Got it. Yea, I think I went overboard too. Took a long break from this hobby and went crazy coming back!

Now you have a solid base to start with. That's an impressive list.

I've always wondered this too. While not exactly an apples to apples comparison, I looked at times set by local guys in competition. I'm not saying these guys are pros or not but I take some comfort & pride in knowing I'm about half a second behind the fastest guy in my class with clear room for improvement

I recently did the Porsche experience at the North American HQ here in Atlanta. The poor guy riding with me tried his best to make me fast and I got 'faster' but, when he did fast laps at the end I felt like I had been sitting still the whole time.
