Red and gold are a great combo, particularly for cars like Imprezas/WRX.
For some reason, it doesn't have the same punch on our cars though - although the concave rims do seem to work better with it.

Word of advice if you plastidip: Lay down more layers of black (I'd go 5-6 layers) before you hit it with gold metalizer or vintage gold dip.
I did my PF-01 with gold metalizer, and it had a slight green tinge to it under some lighting conditions, but because I didn't hit it with enough black (the gold metalizer is very thin - almost like glossifier), it was much harder to remove than it should have been (I spent a few hours with a bottle of Goo Gone trying to get it all off).

Here are some pics of the dipped rims (clean and dirty - the dip attracts dust and sand)
