1. Do you guys down shift and engine break when you see a red light or just coast in neutral?

2. How do you go about 'creeping' or 'crawling' through SLOW moving traffic?

any tips welcome!

also any cool stuff you learned about the car you can throw my way?
congrats! white is a great color on brz's.

1) if you're a 'veteran' stick driver i might trust myself to coast but if you're not an old timer with the stick i'd downshift all the way (or most of the way). reason being that if you're even in a panic situation where you have gone into neutral but *really* find yourself needing to get into gear and scoot out of a situation - human nature's panic mode might make it harder to find yourself back into a gear. personally, i downshift... but ymmv

2) first gear, feathering the clutch you can creep at about 3-4 mph. its not too bad - you'll get used to it.

I alternate between downshifting and coasting in neutral to the red light

If there's plenty of time to down shift it all the way to the red il downshift. If there's heavier traffic and I have to come to a stop sooner I'll probably downshift 1-2 gears depending on if I was in 6th 5th or 4th and then just neutral the rest of the way

I think alternating and keeping things fresh is the best way imo

congratulations on the car !!
I usually slow down while in gear till about 100 meter mark while on the break. when I reach that 100 meter mark I just throw it into neutral and just on brakes.

in traffic... usually leave it in first gear and roll about 2-5 mph because the engine won't stall also I leave like 1 or 2 car of space in front just to roll and apply has break when needed (still keep 1 or 2 car space)

have fun!! in traffic... xD

when cold, yes. also, switching to motul 75w90 gear oil helped smooth out that 3-2 shift.

I love to downshift when I'm slowing down. Sounds so damn good with an N1 exhaust. But at night, near residential areas I just coast in neutral until I come to a stop
