Re-gear, header, and tune. Probably after sorting anything tired/worn out (dampers, bushings, etc.) and throwing on a set of pilot ss. I'd spend a few bucks on an sti gurney flap, a pair of Tom's a set of sti springs if there was money left and I had to blow it.

"Capable car out the box" and similar comments - whilst I do agree... is missing the point.

Personally I'd go headers, SC and tyres (wheels too if you can stretch) - then drive it and have fun.

AutoX/track days etc are fun... but even more fun with more power

HMMM! Rally school - now that sounds like fun!

I rate rally drivers (generally) as some of the best in the world! Handling a car like they do - right on the ragged edge - just screams "mad skills" more than most other forms of motorsport!

Too lazy to do the math. Remove the recaros if I'm over budget.
