Of course! Selling my hamster car once the 86 comes out. :> I still have a savings from selling the Audi TTS. :3

Do you have a pic of TTS? Was it stock? If not what have you done to it? Sorry, I like TTS. My friend used to have TTS, but exchanged it to A5. It was a sweet ride

Sorry mate, thats ridiculous.
You realise that there are a lot of places where the price is similar to this right? Yet you American's are the one's that complain of 'expensive' petrol prices?

Another one - $2.07 NZD per LITRE - or about $9.1 per gallon (am I using the right conversion here lol? 4.4L/G? Edit: Why are UK and US gallon's different?!). (And the NZD - USD is [very roughly] .75 NZD/USD IIRC)

Yes, it does suck!

About $14 on my bike.

Last fill up on my Celica was $46.88, premium, drove 403 miles.

I don't have any pictures of my TTS anymore. :< They were crappy pictures off a phone. Lol Its a 07' White TTS. Stock. I didn't have enough money to do any fancy mods to it.

Sold the TTS since I couldn't pay for the insurance nor the gas anymore. Lol

Then I bought myself a Yaris (slightly regret it). I too also really loved my TTS but damn my schooling. Lol

Indeed it does suck. I don't feel gouged at the pump like if I were in Europe or somewhere, but I don't get low prices like the guys in the States. With that, for the record, I'm not an American.

And its 3.79L per US Gallon

Its like 30 something to fill my tank. 87 no need for higher. I do prefer chevron gas though, I don't know why.

My friends keep telling me Cheveron lasts longer for some reason. Or stretches your mpg.

Then again, how much octane/gas you waste also determines how angry you drive.

I just re-read my post, and it may have come across a bit..aggressive, I guess. It wasn't supposed to

I apologize, I didn't realise you weren't American either. I assumed the CA at the end of your location meant California. I was obviously wrong Though it still applies that the American's shouldn't be complaining about their petrol prices!!

I prefer Chevron myself.

Unfortunately my car has a higher compression ratio and does require 91 octane, right from the manual (and printed on the side of the gas door).

It is all good, and I agree -- they certainly have nothing to complain about price wise.

It may have come off a bit aggressive against the Americans, but I'm with you some what. The price difference between Canada and the States is still quite large, I pay about a dollar more per gallon for regular 87 octane than they pay for Premium 91+ octane. And they bitch "The prices are so damn high!". I constantly wonder how happy I'd be if I pulled up to the pump and it said $0.89 / Litre ($3.37 / gal)

On my truck, I get more mileage when I use Shell compared to Chevron. All those fuel additives detergents (Techron) seems like a bunch of marketing b/s to me.

that may be true. I really don't care about the additives (my camry motor will drink anything)I really only go to chevron cause their facilities are generally a lot cleaner and better taken care of compared to say your local gas n go or whatever.

I agree that the facilities are good but are you really giving credit to a gas station based on that?

The 05+ Tacomas "recommend" premium but I've put 87 Arco water and noticed the difference. Now that the prices are rising, I don't really mind which station I use.
