Just had it shipped across the US. Took almost 2 weeks.

Other than that, just the 25 years that I hadn't owned one. :P

This winter is ridiculous. Snow every week or every other week.

Must be global cooling.

She looks very pretty waiting there. Which wheels are those? At first I thought RSM9s, but I believe I counted 10 spokes. Either that, or me eyes are going wonky.

I garaged the car in late November, but to be fair, I did actually take it once, for about an hour, the last week of December when the weather turned unseasonably warm for a day or two. But yesterday was the day; the first day of spring, it was up into the high 40s, the sun was shinning, I saw a deer grazing in the melting snow-covered meadow by my house, and it was time to take the FR-S out of hibernation. Zoom-Zoom time.

After driving my 2010 Honda Fit DD on wobbly winter tires for the last few months, sitting in the FR-S again was just beautiful; tears to the eyes, heart and soul kind of beautiful. Of all that is holy in this world, I felt alive again. Go Hachi-Roku! Banzai!!!!

And then suddenly, I'm transported into this truly bizarro world where everything around me is in slow motion and people are all acting like the fabric of time and space has been disrupted, driving, turning, accelerating, moving; all at 0.5 times normal speed. Or less. Occasionally MUCH less.

What was happening? It was a rural area. Country back roads. The speed limit said 50. They were going 37. They were slow. Ponderous. Texting a book kind of ponderous. I passed one woman, driving a Mercedes 350ML no less, going up hill, starting at about 40 mph. And I never took it out of 6th gear. (Does this belong in the "This car is barf slow" thread?) I could have shut down a cylinder and shifted at 2,900 RPM and still have gone faster than most of these people. Was the moon's orbit out of sync or something? Or have I jut gotten used to the Fit?

I suddenly felt like I was doing something highly illicit. What if the police see me hooning around, going...53 mph...in a 50 mph zone? Hmmm. I guess it's OK. But why am I going almost double the speed of everybody around me? Either my speedometer broke or there was something in the air.

Still had a good time though. Yay Spring! Now please stay.
LOL thank you for this.

I couldnt imagine a month without my baby.

A few days when I was on vacation.

It's my DD and I drive it 7 days a week usually. I have almost 60K miles on it!

I think you have one of the highest mileage. How is it? Any major problems?

3 months! I bought my BRZ, put 3K miles on it, then pulled the trigger on a turbo kit. That took 3 months with all the delays, wrong parts, parts not fitting, making parts fit, and now after only having it back for 4 days it's back in the shop for another 2 or 3 weeks with a leaking turbo.

I'm sure it's up there amongst the highest milage twins.

I broke an axle at 36K miles which I attribute to many high RPM launches at autoX with sticky tires. That cost me a little over $600 altogether.

I had 2 coil packs go out and cause misfire around 45K miles but all coil packs and plugs were replaced under warranty and I've not had the problem back.

I beat the shit out of my FR-S so I'd say it's been reliable.

Rays forged CE28N 17 x 7.5. About 7 lbs lighter than stock.
