I love the look. The sound is great on other cars audi 5 clips on YouTube were amazing.

My concern is for the price, it looks like the exhaust is shipped in several pieces, more so than other systems. The odd part is it looks like slip on tubing, so unless you know a good welder you'll be stuck with exhaust clamps, which tend to leak.

I haven't seen the design in person but those pictures sure do seem as such...

The slip on tubing allows some adjustment so it isn't all bad, but I would agree isn't optimal and for the price point is a little surprising. The Perrin exhaust which is very similar has V-band joints and a flex joint and in the end costs less.

UPDATE:

Since I didn't hear from the company via Email, I found a rep in New York. He explained they are going through some red tape trying to get the systems over here. I explaiined to him what info we would like before we decide. He said there is a distibuter here in CA currently has and is experimenting with system and he will put me in contact with him. I should have is Email and info by this afternoon and try to get better, less confusing info.

Just received this info from the main company:

Hi

Your emails landed with us over a holiday weekend which is why you haven’t heard back from us .

The response from our joint launch with Litchfield Imports and Mann Engineering has been overwhelming , more info will be coming through in the next few weeks , we have demo systems out with key dealers and tuners and look forward to sharing their feedback . Our first customer deliveries start in Europe in the next 2 weeks and in the US one week later .

Thank you

I did get a response from Mann with a question I had regarding the weight of the resonated catback versus the non-resonated. The resonated version is about 8 lbs lighter than stock and the non-resonated is about 11 lbs lighter.

Also would be nice to have loudness difference in dB's for countries with strict regulations, could you ask 'em next time available?

looking at the vid, I may guess the resonated catback is literally wispering, you can hear the engine trying hard, not the exhaust )) - balm for a city daily driver

And would they be planning to offer a sportcatted front pipe?

Unhappy

Odd that there is only one company selling this system right now and neither Milltek or the tuning shop has put up more clips so we can actually hear the car moving. I especially want to hear a drive-by clips of the non-resonated system. Come on Milltek and Mann Engineering get on it already!

+1

Nameless has a catted DP, which pulls me toward them (at least for that part of the exhaust system).

Any plans for a sport cat pipe?

I know there is a primary cat, but I personally want to keep two cats (no mid-pipe resonator)

Thanks!

Milltek are very well known in the euro tuner market, and I had one of their systems on my VW R32.

Great quality systems, and sound is always top notch and refined. Would happily buy one for my car

I've ordered Milltek resonated catback + Motiv HFC frontpipe, as Milltek dont make sportcatted frontpipes

I will try to do as follows:

1) dyno my stock car so I have the baseline
2) swap the frontpipe to Motiv HFC and re-dyno + record the sound change
3) swap the catback to Milltek Resonated and re-dyno + record the sound change

I think it's the best way to prove you're going in the right direction

Gimme 2-3 weeks for that
