They are just covering their ass. They obviously don't WANT to reject your business, it was a business decision.

I have ordered from nlmotoring 2 times now and have received nothing but the best service.

Well in this event the service was as poor as I've had it. I have had issues in the past with delays in shipping problems with packages not arriving and all sorts of stuff but never told we won't sell to you and there is no solution. In the end I am just quite frustrated as we all know deciding on what parts to buy for your car is not always a quick decision and the wheels in bronze were what I wanted and were in my budget and now I cannot get them for whatever trivial reason.

Did the name on the credit card match the customer name and address? if any of it does not match, RED FLAG no sale. Simple as that.

Canada laws are different than American laws, while fraud protection covers American businesses and American bussiness(the sale), it does not cover cross border sales.

Pretty funny that people would do fraud on rims worth 150$ haha. And no I used my gfs visa as I closed mine late last year. We live at same address and I offered to send a picture of my ID beside hers to show the same address if that would clear things up aparently not an option. I offered to send a picture of me sitting beside her with both of us holding our IDs for them haha like I said I tried to make it work they wanted none of my business.

So you're trying to use someone else's credit card......You ARE a terrible customer. NLmotoring has done NOTHING wrong. Stop giving the company a bad reputation because of your ignorance AND arrogance.

Fraud is fraud no matter the dollar amount.

There is no fraud I had my GF complete the CC use form they sent with phosto ID and the face of the CC. You guys are seriously ridiculous. Having permission to use your GFs CC is not fraud. Especially when they send a form for additional verification.

You would be surprised how many cases similar to this are actually fraud.....

I'm not implying that's what you're up to at all, but you have to look at the point of view of the company...They do NOT want to be involved with anything suspicious because it can be very damaging to their company.

Verbal permission and written permission with signature is totally different. She can dispute charges anytime as the customer was a different person(you), so the credit card companies would side with her and refund her money. It would be left up to NLmotoring to contact the Canadian authorities to chase the customer, which I am sure they don't care as NLmotoring does not pay Canadian taxes aka their paycheck.

So all three things were different?
1. Customer. You
2. Payment. Your GF
3. Address, not confirmed. (as you wanted shipped to a ups store)
RED FLAG.
And its not a $150 bucks. Did you order ONE wheel? I bet you ordered 4. And shipping is not free. That is why they don't ship to a non-confirmed address.

Did you even attempt to do it through paypal?

I get that which is why I offered odd solutions like various pictures showing my ID beside hers with the same address or anything else they would want. The more frustrating part is that they had no other solution other then me incurring large surcharge by shipping direct.

Actually yes I tried to do it through PayPal and tried to make the ups store a confirmed address but its not actually possible as they confirm your address through the billing address of your visa.

taking pictures at home isn't a credible source of information as pictures can be altered.....

Sorry, but you're completely in the wrong and EVERYONE here is trying to convey that message to you.

Also, stop trying to blame them for your residential location. Saying they had no solution to avoid heavy tax/fee/border/whatever is completely unfair. They have no control over LAWS. It's not their job to bypass shipping fees.

yeah, I don't think they did anything wrong. What really triggered the investigation and canceling of your orders are

1. Your 2nd order within short period of time
2. Shipping to non billing address

IF this same thing happen to us, I'll reject your order as well. We have see many fraud happen exactly like your situation above.

Again no LAWS being bypassed or TAXES avoided just less shipping cost. And I would assume it's pretty hard to alter a photo ID without making it look like crap. If they wanted something less alterable I could have e mailed a pdf doc.
