SPCorBUST, I'll be patiently awaiting to see your dyno. Are you going to be tuned by Delicious? With all the Jackson kits out there someone has to be going for big power and willing to post a dyno...

My motor has recently been pulled and will have a pretty simple build done to it (street car). 12.5:1 pistons 86.25 bore, rods, bearings, full supertech valves/valvetrain (standard valve sizes), stock cams, and the setup will continue to use my JRSC C38-81 except I have the RS pulley and bracket to put on. Delicious tuning FF kit will be used for exclusive e85 use. My tuner has a mustang dyno, I will be posting my results on this thread in a month or so.

If the RS pulley is 17 psi, would 10.5:1 compression pistons be good for 94 octane? I sadly don't have access to e85...

The RS Kit is a race setup. It is meant to be run with good fuel. Although, since you have dropped compression quite a bit, you should be fine with 94 octane. Just don't expect to see the numbers that a car with stock compression and E85 or race gas, makes.

While a lot of people who go turbo will often lower their compression ratio, most high hp (300+) supercharger builds use e85, so I was just wondering. |

@SPCorBUST or anyone else trying to make power on a Rotrex still waiting on a dyno. I'd be stoked to see anything over 350 whp on a non hub type dyno.

@GrabTheWheel Just finished breaking in my new motor. Once back in my hometown in a week from x mas vacation the car is getting dropped off for the pulley, fuel system and tuning. I have 12.5:1 pistons and e85. My tuner uses a mustang dyno that I originally baselined at 153whp and then with 9psi pulley and 93 octane I made 255whp. Some say its a low reading dyno while I sort of think its accurate. But Im hoping and expecting to see atleast 350whp from the RS pulley. Im sure most dynos that are baselining more than 150hp will maybe hit that 400 mark but I dont think so on my tuners dyno. Either way based on my baseline if i make a 200whp gain over stock with the rotrex Ill be happy, regardless of what the exact number is.
