Well other than the fact theirs about ten of these threads and its in the wrong section. There is a vid with it. And yeah....maybe we all just got sick of telling people to search and talk of auto vs manual. I'm sure a mod will move this thread to the right place.

Manual for me! Learned how in my tC (current car) and now I can't stay away from it! I love the feel, I just feel like I have so much more control of the car.

+1 for manual. IIRC, Tada said the manual is the preferred transmission for this car. So I assume you'll get the most enjoyment from it.

Vote for automatic, I can honestly say I won't be taking this car to any road courses. Most I'll be doing is hitting a few local twisties I've found over the years. I don't find the manual to be any more enjoyable than an automatic, but then again I'm not a professional driver or anything.

I would vote for manual but there's just too much good reviews for the auto. Well those early reviews of the GT86, so I'm gonna have to see if the FR-S will have the same. For now I voted for auto

Manual all the way!

I am guessing we can take the results from here, reverse them, and that would be about what the actual sales will be hehe

As much as I want a manual, driving around LA during work/rush-hour traffic is a huge pain in the ass.

This will be my 13th car and it will be manual. I owned one automatic, it was a Acura TSX and I was sitting in a ton of DC traffic. It had its purpose, I honestly wish they didn't make these in automatics. I almost got a manual with that TSX but found a too-good of a deal to pass up on the one I ended up purchasing or it would have been a stick (mind you, I had a Porsche 911 at the same time). I hate automatics, boring to drive and a disgrace to any sports car.
