With the advanced seal no slip technology you will have a nice white spot! Disclaimer: not responsible when this caustic shit eats a hole in your paint.

My wht BRZ get's these spots every now and then. Like NA_FRS86 said it's basically from bugs, bird poop. I have noticed tree leaves will definitely give same spots too!. Best try keep car clean free of those items as much possible. I used my basic car soap and elbow grease to remove. Be careful clay bars read direction can damage paint if not used correctly.

Was that "rubbing alcohol" or Bourbon? .... Just asking as Bourbon can make a lot problems disappear....(at least for a few hours). 😉

Got one of these from a leaf once and could not get it off. I got a very fine micro sanding pad, VERY VERY fine and sanded it off, polished and buffed it out.
Worked

Either take another pass with slightly more pressure and quick detail spray, or get a clay bar that is one step more aggressive; ie. going from Meguiar's white clay bar to their blue clay bar.
