I have a feeling that the album art only works if you connect an iPhone or an iPod. Kind of like how the same head unit in the US has the BeSpoke features that only the iPhone can use.

Same songs playing off phone show album info vs USB.

I too think its pretty sad when I can predict the next song. Makes me look pretty good though when I have a passenger in the car.

Another issue I have is only displaying a max of 255 songs. Despite there being more. However on Bluetooth, it can play more.

And I've heard the unit sorts the USB by date copied, however I too don't see that apparent.

Any word from pioneer? I'm pretty disappointed from the unit. But at least looks better then stock.

So, I just got off the phone with one of Pioneer's OEM techs.

Apparently, this is how Toyota wanted it. He kept repeating that this is how Toyota requested it the unit be designed and Pioneer couldn't do anything about it.

I asked if there was some sort of firmware upgrade or something and again, was told its up to Toyota. So as i suspected, Pioneer support is completely useless.

I'll talk to the dealer when I take it in for the first oil change.

What phone do you use that shows album info (I'm assuming you mean album art as well?), because my Galaxy S3 doesn't show album art either, just like the USB. I'm assuming you have an iPhone?

I have an iphone 5 and i don't get album art either via bluetooth or using the USB cable and the "ipod" input.

99% of my music has album art and it's all on my phone, would be nice if it displayed but not really the end of the world that it doesn't.

Not sure about the "Art" so much as the "Info" that show.

I guess it depends where you get the music from.

Oh okay. My phone and USB show the same info. Artist, Song name, etc. Just no album art.

I have the same issue with my aftermarket AVH-X5500BHS (or something like that lol). So I have like 8,500+ songs on my ipod and it does repeat the same songs in the exact same order when played all on random!... But i figured how it does this. So when I pick the first song to start "randomizing" the system automatically puts all the rest of the songs in a particular order (which at first seems random). But every song you start as the first song has its own particular order of songs that follow and will always be that order depending on the first song that was started...if that makes sense
