I'm going to start a somewhat neutral post combining religion and politics, which makes me look simply curious, however I will secretly know it will turn into the shit storm of the century and be incredibly entertaining...

i remember being on the camaro5 website before launch.
it was EXACTLY the same stuff thats going on here.
then people started to receive the cars.
much envy.
then it blossomed into a huge community full of owners.
events (camaro5 fest is HUGE now and GM backed!)
parts development with contact directly between company and consumer

all kinds of awesome is expected here. (no pressure? lol)

These cars are going to have a huge aftermarket, these companies have been begging for a car like this for years. The forum is going to be very active.

Maybe the whole forum should just create a fake press release saying the price will be $32k so when it does come out there will be less interest and no problems finding ours

Its going to be exactly like NASIOC (I-club back then) was in late 2000, start of 2001.

Right now the folks who cared enough about this car before it even got released are here. Soon though, the flood of people seeing it for the first time will arrive, and proverbial shit will hit the proverbial fan...

the auto body shop I worked at for for years (not recently) has recently done a handful of promo/aftermarket cars for car companies before they are released to the public. There is talk of them getting an frs for the show circuit months before the release.. I think there will be much to keep us all entertained. (part time jobs included

Springs, Shocks, Sways, Bushings Cam, Lid, magnaflow catback, BBK intake manifold, LS7 lifters, ECU tune. good for 400 hp. sure its fast, but it drifts like a boat.
