Is the Modellista kit coming to the US (minus the chrome) or does anyone know if this is a real kit or just a rendering it looks very clean

It's not a real kit, just a mock up from gt5. The lower lip extends too far forward and looks like a giant plate.

Am I reading this wrong? Isn't the TRD on the brochure based on the 86 not FRS, which would explain why it has digital hvac cluster.

Correct (most everything in Japanese) will be based on the GT86 being as SCION doesn't exist outside of the US/Canada

Hate to be a Debbie Downer but most of the kits so far don't look so great to me. They just don't seem super refined yet and look to much like an add on.

TRD looks the best so far, not really feeling the front lip/add-on yet though. Down for a quad TRD exhaust
