getting a BMW M2 or a Alfa 4C. Really I'd just save all the hassle and sell the car right now and just get a gently used 488GTB or Porsche GT3. |

Of course once you have the means to go to upper echelon like GT3 or 488, I doubt 86 is relevant, or questions about what to bolt on is relevant, I'm assuming you shit with money and you may just get and mod an 86 each year and try all different directions for mods. Unless you keep the little 86 for grocery runs while the beast sits waxed up in a garage Like I said, its a rabbit hole, like with anything in life, you need to define boundaries and how far or where you are willing to go. But it is funny that we went full circle with guy just getting the car and ultimate conclusion is, just sell i now haha. |

255/35 why? That is WAY too much tire for this car N/A. If you're going for all show no go (and no fun) then this is perfect I guess. But then you mention header and exhaust which means a tune too- so you want show and go? In that case.... too much tire unless you boost it |

I love this car, the way it looks the great handling it has however there are things that I want to change. I do plan on keeping this car for a long time. These mods will represent a sort of "Phase 1" for me, altering the looks and sound while trying to hammer out the torque dip. I do plan on keeping the car NA until all of these mods are complete then plan on supercharging it and doing other mods to go along with higher horsepower. I don't plan on stancing it or making it a drift machine. I love the balance and grip the car has now and while I don't plan on autocross or tracking it I do want it to have the ability to. However passive that may be. I want it to be a grip monster. Short term goals: 1. Achieve the look I'm going for 2. Remove torque dip while NA 3. Retain grip/handling Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |

Save yourself $400 in that 255/35 you want and look at the Firehawk Indy 500. I was sliding all over the place with MPSS, they didn't last very long and now I stick to the ground with that Firehawk Indy 500.

I have stalked these forums since before I bought my car and always appreciated seeing your input. As far as what I want/don't want goes here are my short term goals. 1 .achieve the desired looks I want (wheels I like, ride height a bit lower while still maintaining handling) 2. achieve the sound that I want (headers and exhaust) 3. remove torque dip My overall goal: I want my 86 to be a grip monster with decent power. I don't want to run 1/4 miles, drift or stance the car. I want to be able to run mountain roads or tracks and just stay planted. I also want my mods to prime my car for the eventual SC. Thanks again for your time! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |

I don't know. My experience has only been with the stock setup and the 18x9.5 rims. Obviously I would go less than 9.5", but I have no idea where the sweet spot is without experimenting further.
