No. It is not in my range of interest to build one. No doubt I have the ability but if I went through what Cole went through it would end up in a pile of scrape bits in the back yard. The most I ever did was upgrade video cards. Sometimes as often as twice a year back in the day when things became obsolete weeks after they came out.

It is at home and nobody would see it but my cats. I have a laptop at work. Besides with all the laughing I do in here the HR Manager next door is already convinced I am communing with spirits or something.

I'd tell the gf to take it up with her landlord, but the sink hasn't been fixed yet, so that leaks. And the lock can be opened with a knife. Both things I've hounded her to ask about getting fixed and nothing has come of it yet. It really pisses me off, because now I have a tv, a monitor, an Xbox one and a computer in here that could get stolen extremely easily.

My 74 Lincoln starts and runs fine when it's cold. Then after like 10 minutes it just dies out. Coolant level is fine. Nothing is leaking. Temperature light is not on. Nor is oil pressure or any other lights for that matter. Battery has plenty of juice. Maybe something in the carb?

Choke is sticking. Take the breather off and watch as it warms up. May only take a shot of WD40, you may have a broken vacuum line, could be gunk in the activator diaphragm, oh there are bunch of things.

I am just overjoyed that there is a question about a carburetor on here! There are other things to check if not the choke but I bet that is it.

or, it could be that when the carb comes off the fast idle notch, the normal idle is set to low ...... I suggest a half turn clockwise on the idle screw.
