Jesus. Went 36 miles with the fuel light on to run the tank dry. Got to a gas station listed on the internet as selling e85 to find out it was shut down. Added a quarter gallon of regular fuel from some tiny gas station which got another 22 miles to my regular e85 place. Thats why the e85 guys will have a fuel can in their trunk with the stuff.

Let's hope I don't get another lean afr with this new tune.

Heading to the pavilions. Save me a spot.

So I looked at AMP's website and they want every one to run less than 94db exhaust but the track is literally less that 100 yards from the Luke AFB F-16 runway... they idle at 120db also I haven't been here in a while but for track days they are super cheap the last time I went.

Yeah, apparently AMP has to put up with a lot of asinine restrictions in order to keep their license to operate.

Speaking of noise, it was getting pretty loud when we left. How many car alarms did that sound system set off?

Yeah security was on their way as I turned the corner! I'm happy to see that scca is going to move to a huge skid pad and amp is very well maintained but they are quick to get mad about rules one idiot can make for some pretty hefty fines.

Expect to see autox at AMP in January. I will post when it opens. There will be a limit of 90 participants - no spectators At this time, sound checks will happen in the morning of the event, but keep an eye on the AMP site for sound check opportunities.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is AMP? Also autox on an actual skid pad sounds like a blast, how well maintained is this place?

Amp is Arizona motorsports park next to Luke afb it is a 2 mile street track with a skid pad they take vary good care if it. In my opinion firebird is getting run down and amp which is better maintained would be a good choice for track days and auto x however they are strict on the rules and what they let drive on their track

Chris, I just want to say that you're foibles are singlehandedly keeping me from doing any business with Visconti.

Question about the cable, however: Is it just an OBD2-USB cable, or is there something fancy about it? I have an OBD2-USB cable from my VW days, and it's designed to work with a CAN-bus wiring system, so would that work for this car?

I try and point everyone away from Visconti and towards fa20club for this reason. Yes it's a special cable.

I on the other hand, haven't had any problem with my Visconti tune, or any of the updates.
