I think I'm closing in on 33k. I kind of stopped paying attention to it.

I've gone 17k in 7 months :\

And I've seen it done, but rather just have someone practiced do it on spots like my column where there's minimal room for error.

Got bored Friday.

I've had mine since May 2012, so I'm averaging less than 675 miles per month.

That's not boredom. That's something else entirely. OCD, ADHD, take your pick.

You may "borrow" mine if you come down to Rockville and grab them.

Why only borrow? You have some sort of custom exhaust getting built? Lol
PS. I still have mine

For starters, I highly recommend getting a good set of helping hands (with a suction cup base if you are working in your car).

The best way to do it for wire-to-wire is to
1. Put the smallest heat shrink tubing that will fit loosely over the wire over one of the wires
2. Twist the strands of wire one to get a more solid wire.
3. Hold wire one in the helping hands and tin (load with solder) the twisted end of wire one.
4. Repeat 2 and 3 for wire two.
5. Hold both wires in the helping hands so that both exposed ends are parallel
and in full contact. Heat the solder on the wires so that it fuses together.
6. Add more solder if necessary.
7. Slide heat shrink tubing over the connection and use a lighter, blow dryer, or heat gun to shrink it.
