100%. I'd trade my FRS in happily for one if I could justify the price tag, for what the car is. But, FRS is also "more practical" so it's very hard to justify $60k+ for something that's going to be less functional than what's already in the driveway. To be fair, a 4 door Civic SI is legitimately contending to replace the FRS. |

A friend of a friend brought out his Supra for a Sunday morning drive a few weekends ago. In pictures, I never liked the bulbous front end of the Supra. In person though, I actually thought it looked much better. It's growing on me. I also like the double-bubble roofline and blacked out A-pillars.
One thing I don't like about the launch edition Supras specifically are the red mirror caps. Reminds me a bit of tiny wings on an elephant Fun cars though and they sound great. Agree there should be a MT option.

I like em. They look better in darker richer colors.

I guess depends what you're doing with it at the end of the day. I'd get a CTR, but I'm biased.

The trans likes to have hissy fits between shifts when there is too much torque applied. That said, how many people will do that out of the total number sold? |

Throw the whole car away, those red mirrors are worse than chrome trim around windows/on grills ffs.

Even from the front, those fake vents stand out.

The thing about the Supra is it looks good in motion. I saw it in pics and I was like okay, not bad. Saw it in person standing still - even better. But when a few drove by me, including one lowered on some proper tasty wheels, goddamn it looked fantastic. Just like the 86/BRZ, it’s a car that needs a couple choice mods to look really good

10 years ago I'd have agreed with you on the transmission but not any longer. I think it "SHOULD" be available, but it's no a deal breaker for me, or most buyers.
