We have an apple tree in our back yard (which is just a patch of grass...) Does that count?

If it snows, I'm staying home... and like you said if its cold, take it easy.
The Conti will probably do a better job with any amount of snow trace on the ground than the Michelin.

I had Dunlop SP Sport 01 A/S on the Golf for 3 winters until I bought winter tires and it got me around town in the snow just fine.

The Pilot Sport A/S 3 on the BRZ is absolutely useless even with less than half a centimeter of snow on the ground. I only drive it now on wet snow if I really have to. Nothing beats bombing down the 407 (one of the most boring hwys in Ontario) in heavy snow on the fast lane with Latitude X-Ice and full time AWD.

Well, now, a single apple tree is just one plant.

Now, if you had at least 3 trees, you could claim you had an orchard .....

I'm not sure I'll ever get another winter tire, other than my X-Ice 3's. my only complaint is that the sidewalls are mega soft. But, such is life with winter tires.

Can confirm unless driving an automatic. Then it's a boring, simple commuter car.

Nokian WRG-3.

Got them for my wife's car, and while still a touch soft, they drive better than the all seasons she currently uses in the summer. I'll probably get some hub centric rings and lugs and run the Primacies/stock wheels from my BRZ in the summer on her car now.
