Got my first ticket in 4 years of driving.

Officer gave me 65 in a 60mph zone on the highway. He said he caught me on camera. All good things come to an end I suppose.

This car, especially the color choice, attracts wanted and unwanted attention. Still love it though.

Should've remembered holiday weekend = drive way under speed limit, especially in a sports car. Right afterwards, he pulled out his radar and caught another dude about a mile down the highway.

A little over $100 dollars. I was going to get a GPS next.

Guess next paycheck I will. Hopefully, insurance premiums don't go up too much - though it probably will since one of my discounts rely on no tickets. Yay...

Kinda wish I had the Corolla still, that piece of crap never attracted attention.

In the Everett-ish area coming down south I-5 into Seattle, there are cameras in the median that point down and face the HOV/lane right next to HOV lane.

Should've remembered the cameras were there as I was just driving in the area yesterday. Probably was slapped with the flashy-car fee.

This is going to make my spirited runs with any group in the future a less little "spirited" but guess that's the price.

id call bullshit too. I do 70 in the fast lane from issaquah to factoria everyday. never once had a ticket, passed multiple cops and they didnt care. I was "abiding" the law and going with traffic. others were passing me...

minimum ticket in washinton is $124 now, so it sounds like he's just jealous of your car. literally the paperwork for 5 over is for those who actually like the bureaucracy.

65mph? wow you must have had a tail wind or a good 20miles to get up to that speed. oh wait were you drafting a tractor trailer?

my favorite thing about this car is it's so slow for me to really get a speeding ticket.

I think the cameras are probably tripped by speed not "flashy car" or colour. May very well have got away with it at any other time but if your cops are like ours then holiday weekends are zero tolerance for anything over the limit.
I am pretty sure that others, including myself, are not racking up tickets just because of the colour of the car.
