Markham/Toronto performance during snowstorm tonight.
Hello all,
First time driving a rear wheel in the winter, I have winter tires on. I was fishtailing all over the place tonight. I sensed I started to fishtail every time I gave it a "blip" of gas. I was sliding and slipping more than I expected. I am using a set of michelin Xi3s. Was the weather particularly bad tonight? Will my stability improve once the roads up here get some more salt? Thoughts? Would turning sport mode on help with traction? |

Took me almost 3 hours to get home tonight but man was it fun. The car didn't slip out once. Days like these I'm happy I didn't go for a performance winter tire.

Saw a red twin hooked up to a tow truck (this in the residential area near Major Mac and Woodbine). Looks like the left rear corner met up with something immovable. :-(
