New WRB BRZ, Istanbul, Turkey
Hi,
I got my BRZ last Wednesday. As good as the reviews. It is an auto with leather interior. After driving 53 kilometers, dreaded idling problem and CEL issue raised its head. Shock. I had assumed that the dealer would have sorted out the issue but no. After an angry phone call or two, on Thursday, they picked the car up and in the afternoon it was delivered as sorted out. Since the issue was limited to some of the cars, they were not very keen to test new cars ready to be sold. I was one of the unlucky owners. Today I drove about 100 kilometers and it was great with new Michelin winter tyres, under heavy rain in cold weather, great control, safe. No idling issue either. It is a great fun car for a car nut like me... And I am a 52 years old Senior Executive and I still like toys! Temucin |

Hey all,
Just picked up my BRZ on Friday! (Sterling Silver Metallic, Premium, MT) I got it for invoice price, partly because it had been on the lot for a month, and it's winter here in NY. I'll be moving to the SF Bay Area this summer for work.

Hey guys!
Accidentally put this in the FR-S Thread, so swinging by the BRZ side of things... i've been a long-time lurker of the forums, best place to keep up to date on relevant and actual news (not just rumours, like many news sites :P) but decided to say hi to everyone! Put my deposit down on a Rally Blue Pearl BRZ Sport-Tech (yay Canada :P) in December and asked for delivery for March (when the snow/salt starts going away here) then i got a call last week saying that they got delivery early, which was kind of bittersweet, since i don't want to be driving it around first thing in the snow. SO im still going to be picking it up in March, but i thought i'd go for a visit: ![]() and as you can tell from the smile on my face, i love it! But now im having that dilemma of whether or not to take it home and store it for the next couple months, or wait for march to pick it up... what do you guys think? |

Hello all. Just today I officially put my order in for a Dark Grey Metallic BRZ Limited and I'm looking at receiving it in March. It is my first ever new car purchase, and a major upgrade from the 205,000 mile 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix that was handed down from my parents.
Ever since information on the BRZ started trickling out, I've had it on my mind that there was finally an exciting car that I could actually obtain, and with my student loans nicely taken car of I've gone crazy and done it, no looking back now and grinning all the way. Now the agony of having to wait to have my fun! Oh well, I'll be racking up the virtual miles with the BRZ in Gran Turismo 5 until then.

Hello Everyone,
Picked up my 2013 BRZ Galaxy Blue 6MT last week...Love the car so far...I been in the Subaru game for a while now...here are my past few Subarus 2008 Impreza 2.5i (No picture, can't find one) 2008 WRX ![]() 2012 STI ![]() 2013 BRZ ![]() Reason why I sold the STI was because I recently got married and the STI was way to expensive to keep around, I also end up buying my wife a new 2013 Impreza since her Lexus shit the bed.

Hello! Picked mine up from MA about two weeks ago... This dealer had extra allocations and were pretty much selling for $500 under invoice. They are now sold out..
I'm going from a C63 to this.. pretty much back to basics..

Happy to be here. Happy with my BRZ thus far. Previously owned three RX-7's and a Fiat 124 Spyder. Love sports cars going back to my older brother's '59 Triumph TR-3. The BRZ reminds me of an updated version of the classic British sports cars of the late 50's and early 60's.

Saying hello - got my 2013 BRZ limited in crystal black silica a week ago, and I am enjoying the hell out of it!
I started off the slippery slope of car addiction at the sweet age of 19 when I saved up with a part-time college job to buy my first new (used) car, a 1995 camaro Z28. I loved the hell out of that, and was intoxicated with torque after first riding in my buddy's 1987 Buick GN (had a garrett modified ball bearing turbo, tune, injectors/pipes/etc, that thing hauled). I modded my Z28 with a cam, roller rockers, full exhaust and tune, and had a hell of a lot of fun drag racing. It was a few years later when I test drove a friend's NSX, that handling cars bit me. I had a C5 Z06 at the time, and 15 minutes into the NSX test drive, I knew the C5 was ruined for me. It was confirmed when I tracked it at thunderhill and bruised the hell out of my left knee from slamming into the speaker grille in the door to bolster myself as my body flew all over the big loose interior seats through the turns and transitions. I went and sold my C5Z for an S2000, my friends thought I was nuts! (Can't really blame them). I later ended up going through a bunch of cars - an mr2 spyder, 996 911, lotus elise, c6 corvette, a boxster S, etc. Anyways, sorry for the novel, but my point is that I've had a whole bunch of car "greats", but none of them quite strike the BRZ's balance of feel, handling, economy, price (so cheap!), looks, and daily "liveability". This is the only car I found myself wanting to buy new, and keep for a long, long time. Already signed up for a trackday at Thunderhill - can't wait!! My garage - don't get me wrong, I love the boxster S, but I haven't driven it since I got the BRZ.
