When I sprayed the flat black on my bayson R spats it looked sick, after hitting them with the matte clear coat they have this thin layer or what looks like fuzz on them. Did you guys use clear or just the matte paint?

I'm debating going over the clear with the matte black coat again

I have the Bayson R stuff around the full bottom of my car. Love the setup, no complaints. I didn't paint mine or anything, just bolted it up.

The material holds up find in the weather 5-6 months later, but use you own screws! Here in Socal it barely rains and the screws they supplied are already rusted...

I did the same thing and came across the same issue. I sprayed the black all over and after I sprayed the matte top coat, the rear spat just looks hazy and the color was uneven.

Has anyone tried the plastidip spray?

I'm picking up a full kit today. I'm gonna try to plastidip it. I can post pictures if needed.

Should I do it with spray cans or buy a gallon and do it with the gun they have?
