http://www.portarrivals.com/vsl.asp?item=370508000 Doesn't look like it's been to Japan recently. So it looks like we are back to Altair Leader |

The question is why do you have VINs and we don't. That was never satisfactorily answered.

Yeah from what people have heard from SOA so far it seems like we won't get VINs until the cars are on the ground, when you combine that with the fact that Dionysos was just in Vancouver, and people started getting VINs today, and their VINs list them as being on Dionysos, it all seems to point strongly to me that there may be cars on the ground in Vancouver. It also matches up with the USA Today report that the West Coast will start getting the cars in mid-May (if the cars were dropped off at the port today they probably would not reach dealers until mid-May) and East Coast getting the cars a few weeks later (on Altair Leader).

I actually didn't think it would matter but I guess I'll write the numbers so that people know how much left over room there is for other vehicles.
Polaris Ace (Canada) 224 '12 Impreza 67 '12 WRX/STI 11 '13 BRZ Seijin (Canada) 114 - '12 Impreza 20 - '12 WRX/STI 26 - '13 BRZ I should also state that the Seijin numbers are estimates sent from FHI but should be very accurate. Oh, and just read one of the e-mails again... Looks like my car is probably on the Dionysos Leader due to my VIN having the vessel name on it... I'm giddy all of a sudden! Info below: We normally receive “estimate” information of ETD (Estimate Time of Departure) from Japan, ETA (Estimate Time of Arrival) at West Coast and quantity first from FHI. FHI sends us Pre-Manifest which shows Estimated Production Date and Estimated Vessel Schedule etc by VIN. Distribution team and IT team process the Pre-Manifest data into the system, so you will see VINs on your DVAR before production/shipment. FHI will advise us if anything changes during the shipping process period, from factory until vessel departs from Japan. After the vessel leaves from Japan, FHI will send us the data (Confirmed VINs) on the vessel. Distribution team processes the data into the system, then you will see Confirmed VINs on your DVAR. *Please be advised that Estimate Time of Departure / Arrival and quantity may be changed due to shipping process / weather. |

Has everybody here specifically asked your dealer for a VIN #? I'm a little bothered that I'm the only Canadian that seems to have a BRZ VIN. Who else here has ordered a BRZ from a Canadian dealer? |

All I was told at the time I received my VIN is that it was being loaded onto a boat. I didn't know what boat until my dealer e-mailed me back today. Actually, I didn't even know if it was really happening since I had no actual confirmation at the time that it was loaded onto anything other than my dealer saying so. The Dionysos Leader left Tokyo on the 13th of April though so maybe my car has been crossing the ocean for the last 2 weeks. I should've asked my dealer a couple weeks ago I suppose. But oh well, at least now we get to watch Polaris Ace and Seijin as well. |

Seijin -> http://www.portarrivals.com/vsl.asp?item=356972000
Out of date unfortunately but hopefully it will get updated. No Polaris Ace or Dionysos Leader on the site that I can see. And wow, big gaps in that Apollon Leader page. |

My head hurts from this thread and my anxiety levels are through the roof lol. My dealer contact is going to hate me over the next couple weeks.
