http://www.superstreetonline.com/fea...ine/index.html The Honda Tech forum had several RWD conversions that we were talking about in another thread. Even one with a Civic over a WRX engine n chassis! Those guys are nuts! ![]()

Necrobump.
Wow. this is some classic FT86 offtopicness. I bumped for the benefit of all who are talking about the Mugen CR-Z. God forbid we should stay ontopic. |

My ex got this.
Can't wait to be like in my frs "hey check out my new car that's why cooler than yours" Haha no but seriously, he talks shit about me to his co-workers(wtf) we broke up a year ago and it wasn't till yesterday I found this out. I honestly forgot about him-lol I hate to be an asshole, but fuck it I feel sorry for anyone who buys a cr-z. It's not a hybrid and it's not a sports car... What is it? A waste of money. And yes, this is what happens when a female is on a car forum - lol |

Whenever I see old threads like this, I get sad, because I remember all the OGs that have since disappeared...

Jackson Racing has a Blower in the works or out, maintains the ECO Mpg when needed too! I will look up link, but kinda a Best of Both Worlds, like close to 200whp on tap, then MPG when needed.

Honda to Pitch New CR-Z Against BRZ/FR-S

Read more: http://www.motortrend.com/future/fut...#ixzz2fCfwKNqc Subaru/Toyota really opened a lot of competitors' eyes with the successful launch of a lightweight RWD platform. Nicely done.

That is one ugly rendering. Looks like the drawing they put on fictional Hot Wheels cars.
Still, I'm sure Honda will make it look pretty nice, and I know a lot of people who would need a change of underwear if they heard "CRZ Type R". |

I find it odd that I get more info about future Hondas on the FT86 Forums than I do on the actual Honda forums. Can't explain that!
I like it. I like that Honda has got the message but instead of revamping the CRZ I like the idea of the low hp, rwd roadster better.

FWD = just another hot hatch.
The first mfg to get this through their heads and bring an affordable 200hp lightweight RWD sports car to the market will change the industry. |
