Had dinner with some friend's tonight in Rowland and one of them mentioned his buddy was able to put money down on a deposit with the fleet manager at Puente Hills for an agreed upon commitment of $200 over invoice. Isn't the fleet manager Frank?

I'll jump on Frank with that. Could you ask your friend about the person's name?

I talked with the GM and he said other deals could be possible, but that's awesome that you mentioned that.

Edit: Btw, did he get that written on a contract, Ray?

Update from Frank.

My group deal will get the $300 above invoice AND DISCOUNTS on Accessories and additional services. When time gets closer (I know I've said that a couple times) it will be written in contract form.

And just for you guys to know. It is only working with MY group deal. So if you're on the list you get the deal; however, for me to confirm who did a deposit and for Frank to know who's on my list I'm going to need everyone on the list to send me a PM with your first name and last initial.

*To those who put in the deposit*
Mention my name and this group deal. He'll give you the contract (when time) and you can sign it. For those of you who know people who put a deposit and the dealer 'said' they'll do something for them. If its not in contract form its invalid.

BTW: If you haven't already noticed. I chose Puente Hills Subaru as our group deal for the fact that Frank is a very easy guy to talk too (this is especially for those who don't like to talk with dealers) and he's the guy who's been giving us the best deals. He's also the only guy who has been keeping contact with me with the questions I ask him on a daily basis. Oh, and their lot is bigger. Bigger lot = more cars. More cars = you most likely can get your car.

Thanks Giccin Good update. I'm still on the fence between this and the FR-S, the waiting game for the pricing + trim options is killing me.

If you want to avoid the shipping and handling fees you can. Anyone is able to get on this group deal, but I'd think you want to drive it first. :P

Working on that. :> Plans for discount in accessories are happening right now and a deal to work out a discount/bargain for any extended type of warranty is also underway.
