Its hard to fathom that thing costs like 200k.
It doesnt even look like a 200k car....
It has the same effect that Mercedes EQ series of EV's has...they cost 6 figures but look like they should be half that price.

I agree. I've seen one in the wild. It definitely photographs better than it looks in person. In person, it looks like a generic sedan.

Maybe you weren't feeling sufficiently Lucid when you encountered the vehicle.
The son of the owner of the company I worked for a long time for now has one of those in his 1 1/2 wide reserved parking space. Usually it's a Ferrari, one of two or one of two Bentleys between his father and himself. I wish Lucid success in the electrified luxury market despite my ill will toward the aforementioned individual. If I named off the cars this guy had when I worked for him Porsche 911 Turbo S, Audi S7, cars that do 3s 0-60 times, maybe even boredom sets in and hence the choice. Apparently Lucid's strongest suit is their packaging, fully functional frunk and all. Something for a bored 40 something thats had every fast expensive car and needs to show something expensive in that spot as his car is pretty much his entire persona, after almost 20 years working with him. Some people need to have that car with that price tag. Apparently not Warren Buffett though. Who am I kidding, my first name is also Warren, but more like buffet.

I will never regret not owning 3s 0-60 cars. What's the f'n point? Marketing for brands.

Parked down at the dock. Chroma-wrap of some sort.

Just had to snap the Mini again.. This time, you see a small car from 1965, a very early Ford Focus and so called small cars from the current era..

Sorry, no picture (I was cycling and trying to keep up with the pace line); first time I've seen a Honda Beat in the wild. Lime green. Our Boxster or our S2000 would dwarf it.

You want to compare sizes?
Check out a Caterham Super Seven with the standard vehicles on todays roads, a fourdoor pick-up and an SUV.

Or, a Lotus Europa and a Subaru Impreza WRX.

I used to own a Caterham, it was amusing and a bit scary on the major trunk roads with trucks on either side... but overtaking wasn't never a problem....

I'd reconsider parking so deep into the space.
Next RAM that comes along and it's SMIDSY.

Yep! I've driven a number of sevens both Lotus and Caterham. I owned a twin cam Lotus Europa for years. Meaning; I too know the feeling of looking up out the side widow and seeing a truck, trailer or bus axle above my point of view.

Here’s one for all the British car enthusiasts. I was watching a recent episode of the British TV show Escape to the Country. I think this episode was first released in 2021. When I saw this car I had to pause the TV to snap this shot with my phone. That’s a pristine nearly 60 year old Ford Consul Corsair. I had a red Dinky Toy one with jeweled headlights, opening bonnet and turning front wheels back around 1964.
