Whoever figures out tire pressures, alignment, bars, and damper settings first will be up front.
My understanding was showroom stock (DS stock) part, or the spec part when spec parts are applicable. When street allows you to change a part and spec parts are not listed, (Like a drop in filter is not spec'd) then street class allowances apply.

My main focus was on the TRD springs and wheel options, so I did not specifically ask if one bar could be showroom stock and the other could be spec. My impression is that they do not intend for it to work that way.

Agreed with the other responses, the sways will not be open to other aftermarket options because that is something that a spec package offers, street rules only apply if there is no spec part offered. Interesting note on this, I would assume that you can't use anything other than a stock or Eibach bump stop either, since there was some rumbling about using different stops for tuning.

I'm looking to be transparent in the initial set up of the car for the most part, hoping providing information to the masses only promotes the class and makes it deeper. Better drivers and more cars will lead to it becoming a sanctioned class faster. Then, we'll just let the driving take care of the rest!

Interesting... all parts shipped from TR (with the exception of the Konis as they are out of stock) and I did not get a call from TR. It's possible that you only need the membership # when ordering the sealed Konis?

Which makes me wonder if I got a discount at all?

If you didn't call and ask for the SSC package price as an SCCA member then you probably paid full price?

I too submitted my letter in support of the street catback allowances. I'm looking forward to SSC (as long as catbacks are allowed).

Likewise. I ordered a while ago but the Konis weren't available yet, so still waiting for the Stage 1 kit to ship. I hope they announce the tire soon. I'd like to order the wheel and tire sooner rather than later. I think I'll go with Enkei PF01s if they don't put out any additional requirements for the tire.

Tire Rack shipping is amazing. Ordered all SSC parts yesterday (except the Konis) and it's on the truck for delivery today.

Nope, hasn't been determined, or at least not published, yet.

The tire could be a big factor and they don't have that listed yet.

Hopefully they allow a catted header and a Vishnu OFT, that might be enough for me to make the switch. The lack of umph is really starting to bug me. That way if there aren't any local competitors, locally I could go play in STX (and lose less horribly) until we get more folks.
