My Grom is pretty modded out but totally stock they are a blast too. I have already been through 2 bore, piston, cam upgrades in it. Started as a 125cc, then to a 164cc, now a 181cc (pretty much the limit without major crank case modifications required). Still get 100mpg and I make twice the power as stock. I am around 14whp now which is super fun to zip around on. Ohlins suspension all around. Lot's of little things beyond that including swingarm upgrade, brake lines, rear sprocket, front sprocket, tail eliminator, tail section, renthal chain, billet bits and pieces all over, wideband O2 conversion with gauge, Had a Kitaco I-map fuel controller but now I have a Power Commander V with fuel and timing control.

If you get one let me know because I have been riding mine since day 1 release last Aug and have NEVER seen another one on the road. It was the 1st one registered in AZ when I got it. I really can't believe I never see them and I know there are at least a few out there now.

Next on the list is the FullBlown Turbo kit set to release in a couple weeks for the Grom. Super excited about it IF the price is right. Otherwise I will make my own kit for it.
That's awesome! I'll have to take a look at it one day when I actually do my corner balancing with you. Need coilovers first, but they come after the new house and then truck and ...? LoL

So many people are quick to dismiss low-horsepower fun. I had a scooter before my CBR. It was a Kymco Super 8 150 cc four-stroke and only had 9.5 hp. As I broke things like the belt or needed service on the carb, I upgraded stuff. Even with my 6'3", 250 lbs ass on it, it wheelied every time you took off from a stop! Plus it looked like a sport bike and had stickers that each added 0.25 hp...

Are you saying it doesn't have to be specifically the Acrylic stuff? I saw red-backed 3M tape at OReily/Autozone, but since it wasn't specifically the Acrylic kind that @-AP- mentioned, I skipped on it.

You can probably use duct tape if you want, but the acrylic is made for the spoiler. You linked to 06397 and some interior sticky tape. The 06397 is the correct one of the 2..

Here are the variations from 3m.. http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...beS2Z15RR9ZVgl

And here are the applications..

http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...-Applications/

http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...on-Guidelines/

http://www3.3m.com/catalog/us/en001/...er/output_html

I would visit SA or Finish Master for the automotive tapes..

On a side,,, It doesn't come pre-taped?? If not, you may want an adhesion promoter also. It depends on the composition of the material, so you may want to investigate that as well..
