So these cars can't handle a hail storm...that is good to know. Maybe getting the paint protection film on the roof might be a good idea...

Mud flaps probably won't help the person behind you either....distance will...
Got the front bumper clear bra'd before the car left the dealers lot.. while the film on the rear of the fenders may not help the guy behind you it is nice to have just like flaps and i can a test to the flaps not helping at all it wasnt as bad as naked tires but they were horrible distance is really your best friend... my .02

Trick to RESTART on last map used on Ecutek

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32771

I have not tried this yet, but it is rumored to work...

So here is how it works for your car to restart in the last map before it was stopped:
-1 Press 3 time very fast the push start button
-2 Clutch down and press Push start button, the car will start
-3 Pull cruise control to check which map you are on. If the last map was 2 or 3, it worked.

This also works with the Smart Key...

So... Whoever bought the road hazard protection for your subaru... Well, it doesn't cover hail damage. So, I'm gonna have to go through insurance. And I have to pay deductible.
There go $500

Yea it says that right here

Damage Caused by the Environment

These warranties do not cover damage caused by airborne fallout (which includes but is not limited to chemicals, tree sap, and bird droppings), salt, water, flooding, hail, windstorm, lightning, extreme temperatures, or any other environmental cause.

I think North Park Subaru had warranty packages that included PDR.

Sorry your baby got nailed. Garage saved mine the other nite for sure! A few years ago, I had a p/u truck PDR'd after heavy hail damage and it was amazing work. I used Jack's in Converse. It was worth the deductible to get it looking good again! ....but, I feel your pain, man.
