The evap system performs a periodic pressure test of the gas tank, it's mentioned in the manual.

Not without e85. On pump gas you're going to be octane limited before you hit 300whp.

Yes, I'm well aware of that. But the question is whether the supercharger water pump is turning on by itself, or only when the evap system performs its pressure test. Does anyone know the frequency of the evap system test and how the frequency is determined?

The water pump only turns on when the relay is activated. The relay is activated when 12v is sent to it through the evap connector. Either the relay has to have an intermittent short (seems unlikely given the descriptions), or the evap is telling the relay to activate the circuit at certain intervals while the car is turned off. If all that's true, the solution is to scrap the evap harness splice and find another switched 12v source to trigger the relay.

Just about every other time I go into my garage I hear but evap pump going and/or the IC pump going. I do believe they are related since I often hear them together. The most times I've heard it in one day is 2-3 times, when I just happened to be in there, so figure it's a bit more than that each day. I have no idea what other dependencies the evap system has to kick off though, maybe it varies depending on conditions?

Huh - I definitely hear it a lot less often that you do; as I mentioned before, I've noticed the evap pump going maybe half a dozen times total.

We replaced the alternator, it had been given a nice shower in coolant so the battery was at 12.5 volts with the car ON. now its at about 14.7v with the working alternator with all electronics on and sub causing earthquakes.

Just curious if there are other 2017 owners with this supercharger that had a CEL randomly show up and what they did to remedy the issue.

Nope, it doesn’t fit due to the alternator and ecu bracket. If they made it fit then they had to either replace the alternator with a 13-16 model or redo the connector. The ecu bracket just needs a simple trim.

I prefer do the trim rather than electrical issues. But thanks for the info mate

I made it fit on my 2017 cuz I had to lift a pin on the alternator that allowed plugins to fit by. I'll have to take a picture of the fitment later on when I get the chance.

What kind of exhaust setup is everyone running?
Currently on stock exhaust and want to get a header/catback combo...
Would like a system that isn't super loud but it doesn't have to be as quiet as stock.
Also, it's worth mentioning that my car is RHD.
