Summer school can be fun if it isn't a full course load. 1-2 courses is plenty.

Gives you time to work, make money, and go out.
If you take a full course load, or too many accelerated courses, you might be headed down the burnout path.

Just my 0.02.. But then again, I've never been really good at school discipline. So maybe that's my bad

lol, those 2 are just easy linear algebra plus super super nasty calculus. At the heart is functional analysis, but that's a very specialized area of math.

I just finished quantum mechanics pass/no pass last week as my last class of college, barely scraped a pass I think. It was dreadful.

A "modern physics" class where they only give you the basic formulation is pretty good though, although if they don't tell you the Hilbert space formulation then it will seem more complicated than it really is. If you know linear algebra at the math-major level, then you can get the gist of QM in 2 minutes if someone explains it the right way. Unfortunately, physics people are pretty terrible at explaining so it took me longer.

I have the option of taking physics in the summer, 6 weeks long roughly 17 chapters of integral physics over electricity and MAGNETISM. Should I do it?
Do you need it or just want it? Sometimes a break can make a massive difference.

You are going to Vegas, so I'm sure that's good information to know.

I need it. And the class after it, both are required.

Then it could take some pressure off later course loads so that may very well counter any benefit gained by taking a break now so may be worth doing.
