I'm really on that anime wind now.. this is probably the most animes I've watched at once/in the same week or two since.. 2012ish.

I started Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai tonight.

Yeah, watched that one immediately after a silent voice. Similar thematically I think. At least I would put them in the same bucket.
Enjoyed them both.

Finished it this morning (couldn't go back to sleep early after the work page). That was a pretty amazing one as well. A couple parts were maybe a little on the odd side to me, mostly the chanting stuff but I suppose that's due to the more supernatural nature of the plot.

I'm not sure if I want to watch another drama anime this week, not sure how much more emotional I can get

I think you would enjoy watching "A Whisker Away" if you liked "Your Lie in April," "Anohana," and "A Silent Voice."

Lol I totally get that. I very much enjoy dramas, the darker/more emotionally charged the better, but there are only so many in a row I can watch before I need something funny like Saiki K to reset.

Saiki K! Hilarious!

I think you can break up the dramas with "Aho Girl," and "Hi-Score Girl" if you haven't watched those yet.

+ @Spuds

But are these basically full slice of life comedy genre?

Not sure if I'm into comedies as much but could give them a try.

I would say "Aho Girl," and "Hi Score Girl" are more comedy with Hi Score Girl having slice of life elements in it since it does have a story line to it.

You've watched "Fruits Basket" already, right?

Fruits Basket is a good one to watch. It has bit of everything in it. Really great show.

While not strictly anime, two Netflix shows I recommend everyone who appreciates animated entertainment watch if you can.

1. Love Death + Robots : This is an animated anthology series, dealing mostly in Scifi/horror/thriller stories. Volume 1 is overall better than 2 IMO. Very memorable stories and excellent execution of the animation and sound, in all different styles of course.

2. Castlevania: If you aren't familiar with the games of the same title, this is about humans fighting vampires and other night creatures. Funny, dramatic, great story, characters, and world building, plus beautiful, phenomenal animation. I don't know all of the awards this can win, but if season 4 doesn't win every one of them I will be disappointed.

Finally watched the Fate Stay Night Heaven's Feel 3rd part. I don't think 99% of the ppl who saw it get the ending. Cuz only few ppl actually played the original Fate game and saw the true ending to get it. But still it was a good trilogy

The Fate series got me lost. I enjoyed the first two, then it went downhill from there. The third "season" didn't even have the same characters from the first two. Didn't know it was a game though.
