Received tune file but it's not built for my vehicle -- probably got someone else's tune file. Ah well, will wait for @Visconti to finish whatever he's up to.

I got an error, pre-flash. This isn't my first go-round and, frankly, I'm glad the software looks for things like these. Better than the alternative!

Best bet with John is to send an email and have patience. He may not answer right away but I've not had an email go unanswered yet.

Flashed this latest tune from John tonight - initial impressions:

New RaceROM functionality, woo hoo!

Throttle response seems tamer than usual, but this could also just be the ECU being reset to learning mode after the flash. I don't recall it being this much of a change the 4 other times I've flashed though, so I dunno.

Autoblip - holy crap this scared me. I knew that it was on, but until it actually kicked in (> 40 MPH, brakes hit, then clutch in) I wasn't actually prepared for it! I have an EVO3 catback with the silencers removed and when it did the throttle blip, it was a roar I wasn't consciously ready for lol.

Haven't tried any of the other features yet.

Anyone who's had more experience running with this latest flash, could you advise us on what the various maps are? Is the stock tune on any of them?

Map 1 stg1 map w tank % full on mpg gauge.
Map 2 stg1 w lc/ffs/autoblip, airfuel on mpg
Map 3 and 4 are the same as 2 but w 0-60 and 1/4

just wondering - for those of you who successfully flashed, did the hex string in the name of your rom file match the one on the proecu program?

Not only should it match your ProECU program, but it should match your USB Dongle that came with your ECUTek cable.

Stock Exhaust?.. Im debating on whether i should weld my own pipes and stick em on or go with Nameless performances full exhaust setup.. Money is not a issue with me, just want to get a good rumble.
