The stroker setup isn't much more than what I'm putting in. I'll be well under 13. I was approached about doing a stroker kit, but I don't want crazy hp anytime soon. 6.2L was enough for me.

All this LS work will pay off. The day the 240 isn't fixable I'm finding a wrecked BRZ/FRS to slide. Just call it drivetrain research. :P

Not even talking stroker. Just built to rev... the LS3 out of the crate revs to 6.6K already. What would it take to get 8K? Forged cranks appear to be in the neighborhood of $900-1500. How much are the pistons and valves and rockers and cams to get that high? Wondering if it's worth it for the crate or if you have to build all the internals to just get the case halves/used block from an 08+ Vette.

Threw me for a second. Thought maybe I missed that it was a rev motor lol but you just mean in general.

/Shrug. I'd have to do some homework, haven't looked into 8K LS's. Stroker won't be meant to rev to begin with just by basic principles. Shorter stroke is easier to rev. Even so, you're not making power up there like a turbo setup would. You're well past most off-the-shelf powerbands.

Crate setups are a huge markup for convenience. Ex: My block is 1500 new. I'm paying ~1500 for new internals, minus the crank. Heads come preassembled -rockers. You'll be weeeeeell under 13K doing it yourself. You're paying for convenience and premium shop labor.

Some Lady backed into my sisters car (Lady was parked and started reversing) as my sister was driving looking for parking. So She hit my sisters car

She proceeded to get angry as if it was my sisters fault, started to curse, got in my sisters face and push/touched her arm. The person who did it was the driver and also was quite larger than my sister.

My sister is thinking about filing charges but talking to a few legal councils it may not be worth the trouble. It would be Civil only, not criminal

Any Recommendations?
