why not do a large centered 86 logo, and then have "Limited Edition xx of xx" underneath?

I say either the boxer pistons or the 86 logo and on the bottom of it ZNX.

I like the same logo that is on the oil cap. Only problem is, the design belongs to Grimmspeed.

Hey guys, let me jump in here with some guidelines for the logo.

1. The yellow Airaid bubble decals are already made and are purchased in bulk, so there is not an option to customize there.

2. The laser engraving only turns anodize into white, so the lids will be black with white lettering.

3. Keep in mind that the 86 logo is trademarked by Scion, and I don't think we would put our necks out there by poaching their logo.

With that said, I think a numbering system or forum logo are both feasible. I will get in touch with the mods and see if we can use the forum logo.

Also, does anyone want a silver lid? We have a chance to hold some back from anodizing if there is a demand. We were also talking about selling them as an optional accessory for those that want them.

Keith,

The Grimmspeed oil cap is a copy of the Scion logo without the "wings". Could you possibly do the same, proportionate to the airbox size? Or is that still treading on legal territory?

Ok here's my questions about the customizing of the group buy intake.

I think we need something done special on the intake tube for the people that pre orders it like that blue logo idea.

I'm assuming that we can't do the boxer logo without the 86 because I would like to have that on the center of the lid with the Airaid logo above it and (I don't know how well everyone will like this idea) have the Ft86club logo with our form name on the bottom left corner and the limited edition # xx of 86 on the right corner of the lid of the airbox.

Do we have to keep the AIRAID logo on both the box and the tube arm?

Also, I don't think the forum name is a good idea, as that would hurt the ability to resell in the event you go F/I or whatnot....

Again, I'm thinking something generic like the rotating assembly posted above. Furthermore, would it be possible to get them WITHOUT the decal as a "Limited Edition" type of thing or are you absolutely insistent on having the company logo there?

Well I'm just throwing ideas out there for everyone to think about.

I was thinking that if someone was to go to a turbo that they could reuse the airbox of the intake.

I know that would not be the best option for a turbo but I think would look cool to have a custom airbox.

Let's keep this on topic.

1. That's a bummer, but I totally understand the need to not add additional cost to the units with already providing a signicant mark down for us group buyers. The yellow oval will just need to be something that grows on me.

2. I understood this to be the case and tried to provide a design that simulated this with white on black.

3. I am a big fan of the limited numbering to 86, but not one of adding the forum logo. I don't mind the Airaid logo on the box lid becasue it is monochrome. If you do decide to number a limited number of units, I would suggest doing this in small font in the bottom right corner or integrating it into the Airaid logo in the center.

As far as the the silver lids, I personally think the silver looked pretty good and a little more JDM like the ARC air boxes back in the day. But that look I understand is not for everyone. If it turns out that the silver will be more limited than anything else, I would be down for one with a limited series numbering.

Is there anyway to get them annodized different colors? Like Blue, Red, or even PINK!? Haha I know this needs to get decided quick if these are going to be completed and shipped out next week.

I'm terrible....
