Woops, sorry! I googled SDC and there's a dealer with that name in Rochester so it made sense

I believe they get them from SDC. That's one question that I regretfully didn't get to ask the rep when I test drove the car last month so I can't give a definite answer.

I placed it on March 14th at about 6pm (hope that's accurate enough)

Nice did you get your VIN yet? What's the last 5 digits of your VON? If you don't mind me asking again haha
I pre ordered mine March 17th got my VON but pre order status is still wait list xD

Just traded some e-mails with my dealer, who told me that he had been allocated a BRZ with the same color, trans, $ trim level as my sold order, but with different options. The delivery date has been given as 30-40 days out, so I'm assuming the vehicle is built and possibly at the port. It's been confirmed that the configuration could, and has been changed to match the options I want.

Waiting to get a response regarding the VIN.

Update:VIN has been confirmed with an updated delivery for the week of May 29th.

Yep. RedArmy got it from SDC. SDC covers northern NJ and all of NY. Seems like SDC has included BRZ's in the May allocation to dealers. I expect some more folks to be receiving theirs soon too, hopefully yours is on it's way too sure74. No VIN's yet but the fact that it's on the May distribution is great news!

Yeah, great news for sure.

I wasn't given a VON, and since the car isn't in port yet I don't have a VIN. Therefore I really don't have any more information than I did back in March, save what I mentioned in this thread. It sucks, but not much I can do about it!

If I do find out any more however, I'll be sure to post back in this thread!

Hopefully you will get your car soon! I'm hoping my car is in one of those ships you mentioned. But only got a VON no VINs and ETAs -_-

Haha, Definitely a SDC vehicle. I had gotten a sales order number printout when I originally placed the order.

i'm number 1# at my dealer and I placed the order on Feb 18th!! got my VON number on March 1st...and still no info on my dealer or SOA side

I, as did many, called SoA the other day... I was at work today and the guy I spoke to called me back. He said he wanted to follow-up. There had been no change - still wait list. He said that very few VINs have been assigned. I ended up chatting to him for 20 mins about cars. He ended with saying "Everyone here wants you to get your car as much as you want to get it"...

Funny that you can track a $2 rubber phone cover coming from China, but tracking 600 eagerly anticipated car on a fking big ship is challenging
