Fish don't fry in the kitchen;

Took a whole lotta tryin',
Just to get up that hill.

Now we're up in the big leagues,
Gettin' our turn at bat.
As long as we live, it's you and me baby,
There ain't nothin wrong with that.

wait? a few months is hardly anything. There is probably a waiting list after this car is out anyways!

I have to wait for my 328i M Sport that starts production in June and probably won't arrive until september.

not to mention I already left 33k USD deposit on a Tesla Model S Signature that is not even in production yet and with a promise production date sometime in 2013

I'm not buying until the 2014s come out, not in any hurry.

I'm hoping they'll offer a turbo version next year.

My first car was a 1991 GTI 16v. Bought it w/ 125k miles, drove it until 300k w/o a problem. Sold it when i bought my next car, & when the guy buying it had a mechanic check it there was nothing wrong w/ it.

As long as you buy it from private party, single owner & it's from older people who took care of it; there's really not much that should require expensive repairs.

How about my '07 GTI that was in the shop at least 12 times in the 3.5 years I had it? I bought it new after I got my first engineering job and sold it at 58k (all highway) miles. The AC failing for the 2nd time on my way to Cinci in late June was the final straw.

I have quite a lot of experience with my friend's 1991 Jetta GLI 16v. Those were different times.

they'd be crazy to price it that high.

WRX w/ AWD & 265hp/300 ft-lb torque is only 25k.

My guess is a loaded limited w/ all the extras is 27k

No need to hate. I am still interested in the BRZ and I will hopefully own one in the future but, in the meantime I'll enjoy cruising around in a quick yet practical little 4 door hot hatch.

I'd place a wager that I'll have 0 issues with it over the next 3-4 years based on my previous experiences with VW's. And, I'll be selling it before it reaches mileages where parts begin wearing out.

if you think you are tired of waiting. go sit in one when it hits your show room, it will make the wait well worth it.

i went to see one on display at Subaru Irvine CA yesterday for the first time. lets just say it meets and exceed my expectation

just picked this up for under 30k, brand new. If/when I get a brz/frs, it will be used and only exist as a track toy.
