Yeah, atleast in Toronto.

Some places were $60-80 cheaper,

Some like $20.

Sigh.
Well, after getting quotes from 20 different companies that were all in the $800-$1000 range or higher, somehow Geiko offered only $400. Which is kinda weird, since every time when I shopped around before, Geiko was like twice the rate I was ending up with.

I wish I could meet some insurance modelling team member and beat the hell out of him/her. So annoying to be going through 'prohibitive' quotes in order to find in which company their analysts think their risk pool needs me. Pure socially-wasteful efforts, both by me and analysts, since the total pool of drivers is constant.

25 years old, fairly clean record:
Progressive: about $600/6 months (discounts vary each period)
Everyone else: more (shopped around just about every company)

$50/month with State Farm on my BRZ
500/1000 deductibles on comp/collision
42 year old male driver with clean record

We are fortunate to have low insurance rates. My wife and I have six cars on our policy, five with full coverage, and only pay $200/month for all six.

I'm paying less now than I did with my 2003 Taurus. Allstate reworked my family's policy, and now we're all paying less. Mine is about ~$680 every 6 months I believe.

22, no accidents at fault, couple tickets.

Keep in mind that your rates on your previous car may have also been higher before the policy was "reworked" since you may have been younger. Obviously you're not a kid, but until you're 25-30, every single year up until that makes a noticeable difference.

Progressive

I've had coverage with them for three years on my motorcycle and no accidents, no citations, never even had a parking ticket. I think it also helped that the BRZ didn't exist at the time I got insured, I got my insurance before the pre ordered car was delivered. I have a feeling my rate for the next six months will be higher but wont know until December.

Just in case people think Im full of shit.
