Oh I think it would be fun. The sense of speed and the forces from no suspension and being so low have to feel very raw.

Oh, it has suspension. You are the suspension. And the differential.

Fanatec Podium wheel and you can map all that to paddles. Word is it's THE way to go for clutch, but you can also do brake and throttle.

So I was searching around and find this deal on Thrustmaster T248

Dell Deal: Thrustmaster T248 & GT7

So after you put it in the cart, you can take off GT7. The price will drop it down to $319.98... which is $20 more than Logitech G29. So I thought hey~ why not! & pull the trigger on the wheel.

Can't wait to get em!

I'd have to get the foot box extended past the front wheels. Unless there's accommodation for size - I don't think so - I'd be relegated to open track playtime. They'd still have me at Pat's Acres.

Oh, we should arrange a summer get together with the locals there.

Two experiences during my walk with Haru this evening.

1. Disheveled looking guy, possibly homeless, walks over, says Haru is a cute dog. Asked what his breed is. Told me about a Rottweiler he used to have. Then asks if he can pet Haru. I say "sure, just let him sniff your hand first."

Dude does as I ask, Haru let's him pet his head. All good.

Thanks me a couple times, looks happy about it.

2. We get back to my apartment complex, someone obviously a resident walks by and they say cute dog, etc their friend has two shiba inus, shows me a video of one. Then asks if he can pet Haru. So I say the same thing to him about letting Haru sniff and stuff first. Dude immediately ignores me, rushes his hand over Haru's head, Haru dodges, then does a sneeze thing that he sometimes does when he gets annoyed. Dude backs up thinking Haru's going to bite him. Then he's like "can I take a video of yours to show my friend?" I assume he means from a few feet away. So I say sure. Next thing he does is exactly what he tried two minutes earlier, and again Haru isn't happy about it and the dude thinks Haru is about to snap at his hand (Haru never does that except when he's annoyed with me trying to get him to move when he's being stubborn on a walk lol, but for me it's a light bite that I'm trying to train him not to do at all). Dude jumps back again. Then he keeps saying his birthday is soon can I give him the contact info for where I got Haru because he wants one for his birthday. So I keep repeating how Haru is a lot of work, stubborn, not easy to train, high energy, etc. And the guy was totally ignoring me.

At least nobody bothered us about Dogecoin or Shiba coin today.

High energy? Clearly I got a wrong Shiba… this damn lazyass sleeps whole day. She rather sleep than go on the walk.

She doesn’t bark, bite or even do famous “Shiba scream”. Some days I question if she’s Shiba, but how she react to Kotatsu without any hesitation from the start, she’s def have Japanese blood in her lol

How old is yours again?

Haru's almost 11 months now. I think he's still in puppy phase, so still very much high energy, easy zoomies, and such. He rarely barks. Occasionally if he's hyper he can do a demand bark either at me or other dogs to play but nothing crazy. He did the "Shiba scream" the first month or two when training him to stay in his playpen or crate (gave up on the crate, lol) and also when giving him the first few baths. Since then barely any screaming except when he's at the vet or groomer (once for nail trim, and he bit the lady ). He doesn't bite me or anyone we know, really. He'll occasionally kind fake bite/snap at me if I do something he doesn't like on a walk. Like when he wants to go one way but I say "nuh uh we're going this way", or if he keeps sitting and insists on waiting for one of his buddies to come but they don't, so I pick him up and he does it. But I can pick him up 90% of the time without "biting" and he knows not to do it in general.

Other than that he sleeps most of the day. We walk til like 10am or so and he'll just chill or fall asleep on the balcony, then come inside and sleep till 3 or 4pm minimum (last few days til 5ish, due to time change).
