AI racing is quite decent in iRacing these days.

In the opposite end of the spectrum I've also seen A.I. go sideways in a turn or even completely off the track. I don't remember mistakes like that in the past. Other cars or you had to knock them off the track they just drove around. Also some cars end up being really strong even though they start mid-field but they are overtaking everyone and hard to pass. They'll act in similar fashion is you restart the race but if you exit and begin the race again it's a whole different vibe.

Also the full A.I. three

mode isn't even released yet..

I've gotten to the point these days where on the really hard races I don't care enough to preserve a "clean race bonus" (it's barely even a bonus anyway and the AI's bump me til I lose control sometimes too).

Yeah I try to stay clean for like 3 minutes and then I get desperate and angry it all goes out the window haha.

I've watched the 1st and 2nd place AI go at it. Bumping each other and causing tire smoke. I've also watched a group fight with each other and spin one of themselves out. So it's actually entertaining not being in 1st place all the time. LMAO.

That's the best when they clump up drag each other's lap times down.

Ugh I'm desperate to clear this series!! The closest I can get is 4th place total. Ridiculous.

Series, the one after you win the 3 supras IIRC.

The first race is mostly rainy, 2nd is at Suzuka, and 3rd is... I forget where lol.

Oh yeah I'm on that now. GT40 (almost stock) on Extreme Wets.. Only tried like 3x though best finish was 5th in the 1st race. Now that I know the whole series sucks I won't move on without a gold in the first one for padding. Wheel comes in tomorrow SUPPOSEDLY.

Yeah I finally budged and got Extreme Wets today (for my BRZ). I almost had 1st place in the first race but then the WRX beat me out

.

I can do reasonably well in either my supercharged BRZ or my 991.2 or something Porsche, but not well enough.

And then at Suzuka I couldn't do better than like eighth, lol.

I can't remember which car I told you I used for that series. I wanna say it was either the R32 or R34. But I think I told you my settings for the series. Only thing I would change from, that if you still have it, is not to have it at the lowest ride height. After playing with the height, it seems like the Skylines need at least 95mm in order to corner well. At the lowest, it would just push in hairpin turns.
