Maybe I should try and call Subaru proper. They are really nice people, answered everything before. most of the salespeople here avoid talking about it because it is so far off and delays a closed sale.

Well, I finally broke down and put an order in for a 2017 BRZ Limited w/ PP in CWP. This will be my 4th damn BRZ. I test drove the new miata twice and the new camaro 3 times, once with an automatic. Although i looked at many other cars before coming back around and realizing that there is no escaping the truth of what i want from a car.

Anyways, i have a VON (no VIN yet) and the projected arrival is the last week of February. That seems right in line with what i have read the last couple of months on the forum.

Anyways, i never left this damn forum, i still visit everyday. But I officially have been subie-less since my last BRZ was totaled back in July. The wife and I were just taking our time picking what we wanted to get to replace the subie. But I am glad to be officially coming back.

They build the cars to a plan not based on orders. The plan would have been set about March of this year and is probably right on schedule. The PPs are not getting "pushed out" but will be built when they were supposed to be all along. It is the dealers that gave bad info about delivery dates that make it seem like they are delayed when they really are not.

I said non-PP are getting pushed out. But I get I meant the delivery dates themselves are pushed out, not the actually build process. Like if you were to order one now, the delivery date is further away since there has been many orders lately and all the cars planned to be built are called for.

I think that's what I meant, or maybe im way off

Yep that makes perfect sense! It read like you thought they were building them later. This is a bad time to be ordering anyway since they run some AWD through the same plant and those are going to be the priority at this time of year.

Those wheels and Bremos will look really sharp against the white.

CWP seems to be the hot seller, even on the WRX line. It definitely looks the best when using the 360° on the virtual brochure. Congrats all!

Is the spoiler black on all of them (too lazy to go look myself? If so I agree with those wheels, the black "mustache" and black bumper inserts it would all come together. A nice tint on the windows and you have the whole black and white theme going. I don't even like white cars and I would consider that set up.

This is exactly what I'm doing. As soon as I have a delivery date I'm making the appointments for tint the next day. I'm also planning on getting a black vinyl wrap for the roof

Yes, black aluminum spoiler with body colored tips.

You lost me with the wrapped roof. To me the beauty of the basic black trim on the white car is the simplicity of it. The roof would be overkill and break up the lines and black highlites.
