It's nice knowing that if for some reason, I did get stuck somewhere without e85 (I likely wont as I probably wont be driving my car that far out of austin anyways), that I could just flash the 91/93 map and be perfectly fine.

Wheel stud is back on ($2.69 from Auto Zone) and bought some ghetto acorn nuts (4 pack for $15). Wanted to get it back on as fast as possible to prevent damage.
Maybe I'll get to the body kit tomorrow.... If I don't figure out why my Whiteline LCA's are clunking I'm gonna go crazy. |

I haven't see anyone talking about retrofits here, but I'm a huge fan of retrofits and did a full DIY. I ended up getting the winjets for about $250 due to an error on carid's website. The retrofit was about $330.
Check it out here. let me know if you have any feedback.the diy is a bit raw http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63266

Great job. You're one of the first to actually take those apart. I have the Spec D's coming in soon... hope they meet my expectations. |

![]() It's so much easier than it looks, man. It really isn't hard at all. Have you considered taking your stock apart and painting them?

I ran over something on the freeway and destroyed two of my brushed silver RPF-1s in 17x7. Good news is I still have two perfectly good RPF-1s in 17x7 if anyone wants to buy a cheap spare. My loss is your gain and all that lol.
Matt, I had a wheel stud break off in my hand as well. What is it with people overtorquing lug nuts in Austin? Shit will stay on when you torque it to factory specs...you don't have to Hulk out on it. Last edited by Rabble; 04-14-2014 at 05:40 PM. |

Got C'thulhu back today. In 1000 miles I'll be swapping the transmission oil, so I'll be headed to DIY for that. I'll post about it again when I get closer to that point.

Gf is coming into town this week. Any suggestions on "couple"-y things to do? I got Zilker Park, iFly indoor skydiving, and lots of food places so far.
