Howdy y'all! I just bought my 2018 BRZ last week. It replaced a 2018 Focus ST which I had for almost a year. The move to a RWD car was a real eye opener for me, and I'm really loving the BRZ.

I'm from the Dayton, OH area, and my BRZ is silver. I noticed a few Twins running around my area, but not enough by far Too many Corvettes driven by elderly gentlemen

Hi there,
I came across the opportunity to pick up a 2013 BRZ limited, with only 18, 527 miles on it! I had to take advantage. It came with an AEM in take and an Invidia exhaust.

I can't believe I almost bought an Audi. Name: 20200305_180713.jpg

I figured they might be like that, I also heard the regular WRX suffers from shifting from 1st gear to 2nd gear. So if the redesign has the same issue like that, but from the turbo then I'll probably be okay with that.

Or you're just joking then I didn't catch on

I was just trying to jump in before the guys who say don't buy now wait for the turbo (which never seems to come). I test drove a used 2013 BRZ which seemed funky there.. but my 2003 WRX was fine and my 2016 BRZ still doesn't have any issues, knock-on-wood, at 48k miles.

Yeah, about that, I heard almost every year that there's always this rumor or post saying it'll have more horsepower maybe 20-50 but it never comes. I don't mind buying now since if they did add the turbo then it'll be expensive.

The car is so much fun to drive as it is, it really doesn't need the extra hp. Not saying it won't be more fun, but it really is fine just the way it is.

Plenty of fun except for that torque dip, thankfully that's easy to fix.

Hey everyone. Started lurking here January last year, I think, when the ol' Prius started acting up and I wasn't sure if I wanted to fix it. Had both an '85 MR2 and '99 Impreza RS in the past and I continually kick myself for not having them anymore, and the BRZ jumped front and center when I thought about a newer car. Started gravitating towards the 17+ cars, learned about the heritage blue (the MR2 was a young sky metallic blue, ha!), and got lucky on a freshly traded-in one. Dailied it for a few months and then fixed the Prius, so I guess I've got a stable now. It turns out I never learned how, or even knew about, any kind of rev matching with my previous stick cars, so I'm trying to do right by this car and drive it properly. Took a break the other day during a drive for some light grazing.

Looks great in the sun! Looked sweet in the showroom but that is even nicer.

Thank you! Color definitely took a while to grow on me, but I have grown to love it!
