Spring rates for the STI Pinks and H&R sports????
info on RCE Blacks? I have less than an inch of clearance coming into or out of my driveway and many places in town are worse. I just want stiffer springs with the least drop ( i know i'm one of the very few who doesn't want a 4inch drop and 11" wheels)

I guess I should have been more specific....
Is RCE developing springs similar to the black " regular guy" springs that are available for the wrx.? Meaning a 10-15mm drop with spring rates a step softer than the yellows. But stiffer than stock. Maybe the market isn't large enough for those, idk.

From what I understand the yellows for our cars are actually blacks. They have released a RCE Tarmac spring that is matched for their future Bilstein shock and for koni shocks which is the "yellow" for the wrx. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong. Their site is down right now otherwise I would submit a link with this post. Thread reviewing the Tarmac Springs Last edited by Stevo22; 09-24-2013 at 04:54 PM. Reason: added link to review thread |

I don't see ark coils on the list. I know they make some. I wonder if anyone has installed them yet

Buying question
Hi guys,
I was wondering if there I just want an inch drop in order to fit 18x8.5 in front and 18x9.5 in back with 255/35 and 235/xx in the front. What would be the closest set up for stock ride comfort and about the same tail happiness. I know 255 and a stagger would make it understeer but thats the only fitment for my wheels. Thank you all in advance.

Just a question. Why is it that on the coilovers the spring rates seen to be higher for the fronts than the rears but if you look at stock set ups or just springs the rate is higher in the rear. For a car that has been engineered as well as it has why would you want to make something as important a spring rates the opposite as the designers. I'm not being sarcastic or anything I just honestly don't know.
