I broke down and got a wheel with a stand. I only bought one shifter though because I'm cheap for one and also they cut-off my third hand at birth because they thought the humans would make fun of me in school.

I'm not very far along yet; just purchased the game Friday and have been progressing through the licenses only after "golding" every segment. So far I have been pretty disappointed with the reward cars. Even more disappointed with the roulette cards, which every time have given me the lowest possible reward (that doesn't seem rigged at all...). Have gotten the "clean race" bonus almost every time and yet, I'm pretty disappointed overall at how poor the event payouts are.

And we can't sell cars either? Ugh, this is gonna be rough if PD doesn't release another update to atone for their sins.

Some of the cars are good rewards. Didn't really care for the rest other than the fact that I don't have to spend money on buying them. Haha


I'm guessing PD is going to try to milk the whole MTs trend for as long as they can, and then they will release an update that let's us sell cars. I'm just hoping for more tracks and cars from the first two GT games, as well as actual endurance races, especially ones that pay out more than 5k like the only two I've encountered so far (both are in the missions). Both are only 30 minute races.I know there is one more I think, that's 24 minutes only. Pretty sure the payout is only 5k for that mission too. Lol.

THIS!! Roulette starts spinning and is certainly about to stop on an RX-8 followed by an exhaust system, a gold bar, and mere 5000 credits. The thing slows down at the RX-8 and Im like great, I'll get the gold bar.

Nope, it literally stopped at the gold bar, and after a second it moves to the 5000 credit. Is not the first time I miss out on a car or higher payment.

I love another how silly the requirements of some special races are. For example, while doing the Japanse FR menu, there was an event where it required 550PP or less, FR, and sport tires. Im like great, my Silvia S13 can make up that power with a few mods.
I go ahead and I swear I was paired with a Skyline R34, Civic Type R EK9. I get my ass HANDED to me by all these other cars that are clearly not FR. Barely able to keep up on the straights and eventually overtaken by everyone by my lack of pace.

What they should really do is have an online marketplace for used cars and livery designs. Also an option to mint NFTs

Samsung 870 QVO 1TB is about $90 but a great choice. The process is fairly simple and painless. Backing up and restoring takes the longest but it all depends on what files you want to back up.

What peeves me is the PS5 you can't play off the external. I mean the on-board is wicked fast and it's awesome but I bought an SSD external so why can't I load off that? It is faster than downloading from the cloud (well at least on wifi I do have a gigabyte connection if I ran a wire downstairs) but other than that what's the point?

Yeah this is a common issue. It's the problem I have in the race series I'm stuck at right now. It's for 600 PP or less but there are clearly cars in there that seem much more powerful than that because they leave me in the straights. I can't even keep up with them. Other than tires, there's no way that's possible ._.

I found some races it's better to be 600PP by HP alone and others you might as well be stock with racing extreme wet tires. (Remember PP is an overall score)

Also if you overbuild (slightly) and then nerf it with weight you can move the balast around as desired for your driving style.

It blows my mind that here we are with a game released on the PS5, 10 (?) years after GT5 on the PS3, and the AI and logic used in the races against the computer are still as pathetic as ever (highlighted in the above comments).

I honestly do not get it.

For most of the campaign, I really only just used racing tires, racing suspension, and racing transmission. If you tune it just right, the gear ratios can make up for an hp difference, and the suspension and tires really help with everything. Most of the time, stock brakes were good enough.

If I added more hp, I'd have to sacrifice either tires of adjustable suspension and tranny, which would make me faster in the straights, but I lost considerable time everywhere else, especially in corner exits.
