As for the exterior, I like the new headlights and tailights. I still like my BRZ's OEM headlights more but those are definitely better than the shitty FRS OEM headlights.

There has to be X amount of space (don't remember the numbers) between the hood and all engine components so if a pedestrian is hit and thrown onto the hood it cushions before contacting the engine or equipment. Our hoods just barely meet this requirement. To add a factory turbo or SC then they would have to bulge the hood to have the room. Can't put it in front because we also just barely meet the front crash requirements.
The old DSMs had to do it for the requirements back then and they have made the distance even more since then.

Meh, I think I'll keep my FR-S. Toyota will bump the price up a couple grand because of the badge swap alone, not to mention the engine bump and styling. Without the turbo people want, this is a $28k car, with the turbo it would be $36k (judging by what I've seen other people say)


I will admit to being curious about one thing though. It might not be much at all, but I wonder if whatever gave them that 5 hp/tq bump would help an n/a build make more power, or really, any type of build. I wonder if gains will be exponential, or linear.
