I am not for sure you posted it or used one but the old Chevrolets had shims, to shim the starter. Sometimes if the shims were left out they would bind up, cause them to drag and eat teeth.

Ram throwout review: install wasn't hard. Unit felt really solid, looked good. I had to use one of my normal LS slave spacers on top of every included spacer with the Ram slave. Pedal feel is significantly stiffer. Engagement is good. I'm satisfied with the unit. And it can be rebuilt

Alright, the update I've been teasing for a long time now: air conditioning.
I don't have many pics simply because of how hard it is to get good images and I don't have any from the install. I wanted to run this kit for a while to make sure everything was good, and life got in the way. Excuses, excuses, I know. Anyways, I have the demo "premium" kit from SAVAGE! Autoworks. The premium kit was never made available due to cost concerns but the budget kit is available and is using the same proprietary parts. You can find the kits at savageautoworks.shop . Don't mind the rust, I have a vented hood and my fitting sits right under the vents Kit requires the customer to assemble their own hoses, but provides all necessary components to connect your GM compressor to the Subaru condenser and firewall. The hardline with the pressure sensor is retained and just needs bent a little to fit. I'm also running the SAVAGE! fuel starvation door. It's a little more affordable than some of the other options on the market. Sent from my ONEPLUS A5010 using Tapatalk |

Like the braided hoses!! Have a question,, been thinking about it a bit. When putting together a system with new and used parts,, how do you handle oil in the system?? I've got used compressor, new condenser, new lines, used evaporator. Not sure how oil is handled..

Decided to modify my intake manifold. I don't have the room between the manifold and hood too fit a new manifold so I chopped the snout off of my LS1 manifold and grafted on an aluminum one I built. JB weld to attach it and bondo to make it look smooth. Will get repainted blue. My purpose was to increase the inlet size and direct mount my 4 bolt throttle body. Only half of the inlet could be enlarged though because of the front most runner. But size was gained

So I forgot to update this: intake manifold didn't hold. Don't bother, just buy an aftermarket
